For a non – Nikon D3 can afford, the new Nikon D700 seems to be a piece of the gospel, because it's like a montage of D3 in the body of D300, with a slightly more affordable price. It seems a Very Good deal, right?
Nikon D700, the package includes a battery, battery charger, a data cable (USB), cable, strap, CD-ROM and a LCD protection cover.
The design of the D700 is more or less the same with the Nikon D300, D700, but outer covering, the rear body and mirror box, is constructed with a magnesium alloy to reduce weight and provide durability. So, while D700 is equipped with the functions of the D3, is only a slightly heavier than the D300. It is easy to hold with an ergonomic handle made carefully.
Turn the dial is particularly well received – only have to press a button with your left thumb and scroll with your right to get the settings just right.
The 12.1-megapixel CMOS FX format and sensor detection area is 36 x 23.9 mm with a sensitivity of ISO 200 to ISO 6400. It can even be carried HI -2 (ISO 25,600) and the noise is as much as ISO 6400. Amazing!
D700 is only compatible with CF Type I, while the D300 accepts both Type I and II is not really a huge setback however. Its battery lasts about 1000 shots which is quite satisfactory.
D700 complies with HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) which lets you connect to HDTVs. You can also find the video output, USB and DC-in plug into this slot.
The fact that it is Japan says the product is high quality.
The SB-900 Multi-auto flashgun pass covers 17-200mm zoom zoom range. Together with the AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED lens, complete performance of D700.
The Lcd Monitor is the same as D3 3-in., Approx. 920,000 points (VGA), 170-degree wide viewing angle, 100% coverage of low temperature polysilicon TFT LCD with brightness adjustment. Ultimately allowing for better image composition than its counterpart D300.
Users have to make two shots to get the look you want. The first shot is a test shot for the approach and the resulting image is blurred. The second shot would be the focus.
O ring sealing the D700 also makes better protection against dust and moisture from the square piece of the D300. The biggest changes and most endearing Virtual Electronic horizon is that now can be displayed in Live View screen, users do not have to enter the special menu to access it. It does take a picture level D700 even more convenient has inherited most of the superior performance of D3, but D700 viewfinder provides only 95% frame coverage instead of 100%, but would do a big difference. The speed of high speed continuous shooting for the D700 is 5fps, if you upgrade to a MB-D10 drive. The scene recognition system allows the precise auto exposure, auto White Balance and autofocus. The FX 51-point AF can detect the issue with the lens opening as small as f/5.6. The 3-D allows the prompt attention to perfection to track moving subject. Not only is the Picture Control System enables advanced shooters to adjust their image parameters, but also provides a rookie with four custom settings (Standard, Vivid, monochrome and neutral) for beginners pick easily. Seeing the price of Nikon D700, we're still not sure whether to lower the age of full coverage digital Slr Camera has arrived yet, but if you can not wait until the next the generation to come Canon Eos 5D, Nikon 700 also may be an option.
