The Toyota Supra Mark III and was the last model that relies directly on the engine of the Toyota 2000GT, and this generation ran from mid 1986-1992, an era that time the longest production period of the Supra line with approximately seven successful years. All models in that year were equipped with wishbone suspension and also comes around with the option of metal power moonroof and a Targa top.
There was also the setting up of the tourism model known as a turbo, and 500 models were produced and sold in Japan in 1988. The third generation Supra had a long-term success on the world, and took leave in 1992 for the Mark IV.
