Lens Cleaning
One of the most common problems you may have with laser pointers and one of the easiest to fix the lens is dirty. You can tell the lens is dirty when the beam point is viewed or out of shape instead of the normal small tight circle.
There are many ways to clean the lens of a laser pointer, such as q tips, microfibre, cotton buds and alcohol solution. Some of these may work, others not, but all are at risk of damaging the lens. Instructions
Safety is always a problem with High Power laser pointers so the first thing you do before cleaning the lens is to remove the batteries from the laser. After removing the batteries, leave the lid off the battery as an extra precaution.
