Pentax K2000 km surprisingly well thought out, notebooks and solid
Strengths: Great menu system: smart, intuitive. Approach rapid objective quality kit. Weaknesses: LCD a little hard to see in bright light, but this is normal. Summary: After owning the original 1975 KM SLR and more Canon S3IS recently, I am pleasantly surprised by a sense I am holding a quality engineered product that is well thought out. I love photography and want to keep it simple, but what is more important to me is portability, and something that is very sensitive to the tonal qualities of light, color or black and white. This camera has these and throws in some wonderful tools for creative effect to boot.
